Import history

The tray with all your imports: filter by status, review the warnings on each one, and open finished recipes.

The History tab in Import recipes is your import tray. It gathers everything you've uploaded —in progress, finished, or failed— so you never lose track of a recipe. You open it at https://app.areacacao.com/import-recipe?tab=historial.

The old /inbox route redirects here automatically. If you have an old link or bookmark, it will still work.

Filter by status

At the top there's a row of cards that filter the tray and, along the way, tell you how many imports are in each status:

  • All — all imports.
  • Queued — waiting to be processed.
  • Processing — the AI is reading them right now.
  • Completed — finished and ready to open.
  • Failed — couldn't be processed.

Cancelled imports still show up under All, even though they don't have their own filter card.

The table

Each import is a row with five columns:

ColumnWhat it shows
StatusQueued, Processing, Completed, Failed, or Cancelled. If the import was escalated to background processing, you'll see the "↑ escalated" badge (with the up arrow).
FileThe name of the file you uploaded.
Sub-codesWarnings about what the AI found (see below). A dash means "no warnings."
CreatedHow long ago it was created (for example, "3min ago") and, if it finished, how many seconds it took.
ActionsOpen recipe or Cancel, depending on the status.

As long as there are imports queued or processing, the tray refreshes itself every few seconds.

Warnings (sub-codes)

Warnings flag details worth reviewing when you open the recipe. They aren't always errors: many just point to something the AI couldn't resolve with full confidence.

  • Ingredients not found — an ingredient couldn't be mapped to the catalog; review it in the editor.
  • Ambiguous unit — a unit of measure wasn't clear and should be confirmed.
  • Escalated to background — the import took longer than usual and finished processing in the background.
  • Not a recipe — the document didn't look like a recipe. If that's the case, use Verify the document type first.
  • Generated from text — the recipe was created from a text description, not an image.

Available actions

  • Open recipe — appears on Completed imports. It takes you to the recipe editor to review and save.
  • Cancel — appears on imports that are Queued or Processing. It asks you to confirm ("Cancel this job? Credits will be refunded automatically.") and, once you confirm, refunds the credits. While it's cancelling, the button shows Cancelling….
  • On Failed imports you'll see an error summary; hover over it to read the full text.

Empty states

  • Empty tray: "Your inbox is empty." Click Import image to start uploading.
  • Filter with no results: "No jobs in this status." Change the filter or import a new recipe to see activity.

If the tray fails to load, you'll see "Couldn't load your inbox"; reopen the tab to retry.
