Avery L7160 labels
Generate the label sheet to identify the sample cups with your tasting's blind codes.
What it is
Avery L7160 is a standard self-adhesive label format: 21 labels per A4 sheet, 63.5 × 38.1 mm each, arranged in 3 columns × 7 rows.
AreaCacao generates the sheet with your tasting's blind codes ready to stick on each sample cup. Each label shows the blind code in large type as the dominant element; the sample's internal identifier (its muestraId) appears small, in monospaced type. The panelist does not see the sample's internal name, only the code.

Before you start
- A tasting created with samples and blind codes assigned (see Blind codes).
- An A4 sheet of Avery L7160 labels (or compatible).
Steps
Open the labels screen
Tasting detail → Operations section → Avery L7160 labels tile. The header shows "Avery L7160 labels — N samples" and the A4 preview.
Review the preview
The preview reproduces the sheet at actual size. If your tasting has more than 21 samples, several sheets are generated automatically (the header indicates how many).
Click Print labels. Load an L7160 label sheet into the printer and, in the dialog, set it to actual size (100%), with no scale-to-page, so the labels line up with the physical sheet.
Stick them on the cups
Each label carries a blind code. Stick it on its sample cup before serving.
Literal screen text: "Physical label sheet to identify samples in the booth. The panelist does NOT see the internal name — only the blind code. Print at actual size (100%) on Avery L7160 sheets."
Tips
- Verify the actual format before printing many. Some compatible brands have small millimeter differences that throw off the result.
- Print a test on plain paper and compare it with the label sheet against the light before spending labels.
