Tastings (Evaluations)
List of tastings with their status. Entry point to create or open a tasting.
What it is
The Sensory evaluations screen is the list of all your tastings: those in draft, the active ones, and the closed ones. From here you create a new tasting or open an existing one to evaluate it.
How to get there

Pro plan and above. On the Starter plan, this screen shows an invitation to subscribe instead of the list.
Sections
Header
- Breadcrumb Sensory analysis / Evaluations.
- Title Sensory evaluations.
- Description: "Full list of active, draft, and closed evaluations. Create a new evaluation or open an existing one to start tasting."
- New evaluation button (top-right corner).
Tasting cards
The listing is a list of cards (a single column), one per tasting. Each card shows:
- Title of the evaluation.
- Status badge: Draft, Active, or Closed.
- Test type (with the initial capitalized).
- Date of the last update.
- Number of samples (
N samples). - Number of evaluations recorded (
N evaluations).
This screen has no filters or search box. It's a direct list of cards; find your tasting by its title and status.
Actions
- New evaluation (header) — opens the tasting creation wizard.
- Click a card — opens the detail of that tasting.
Screen states
- No tastings yet: the message "No evaluations yet" with the text "Create your first sensory evaluation to start rating attributes on samples." and a Create first evaluation button that opens the wizard.
- Loading: four loading rows (skeleton) are shown.
- Load error: the message "Couldn't load evaluations" with a note to try again later or contact support if it persists.
