My recipes

Path and purpose

• Path: https://app.areacacao.com/recipes
• How to get there: Sidebar → Formulation → My recipes.
• What it's for: see all your recipes, search them, filter them, open the editor for an existing one, create a new one, or import one with AI.
• Availability: any user with an account. There's no plan restriction on this screen.

What you see

Header

At the very top, the Back to dashboard link. Below it, the My recipes title with a counter along the lines of N recipes · M shown (the second number reflects how many remain visible after applying the search and filters). On the right, two action buttons: AI import and New recipe.

Filter panel

Above the list there's a bar with four controls:

• Search — the Search by name or description… field. Filters by the recipe's name and description as you type.
• Chocolate filter — the All chocolates selector plus the types present in your recipes (Dark, Milk, White, Vegan milk, Vegan white, Custom).
• Filling filter — the All fillings selector plus the families present in your recipes. If you don't have any recipe with a filling, this selector appears disabled.
• Sort — a selector with four options: Most recent, Oldest, Name A–Z, Weight, high to low.

The filters and sorting are instant: the list reorders and shrinks without reloading. The chocolate and filling options aren't a fixed list: they're generated from the types you actually have.

View toggle

A pair of buttons let you switch between Grid view (cards) and List view (table).

Recipe cards

In grid view, each recipe is a card with:

• The recipe's name.
• The chocolate type (Dark, Milk, White, etc.) or the filling value if it's a filling recipe.
• The number of items (components) and the total weight in grams.
• A Validation N% badge with a color bar, when the recipe has a validation score (see Formula validation).
• A globe icon when the recipe is published as public (see Share recipe).
• The last updated date.

In list view, the same recipes appear in a table with the columns Name, Type, Items, Weight, Updated, Actions.

Main controls

Empty states

• No recipes yet: No recipes yet + Create your first recipe to start exploring validation, costing, and inventory. with the New recipe and Import with AI buttons.
• No filter results: No results + Adjust the filters or your search to find your recipe.
