Goal
Get an AreaCacao-branded PDF from a recipe's public page, ready to print or send to a client. It's a clean printable version of the public page: composition in tables, yield, method, allergens, quality badge, and tips, with no costs.

https://app.areacacao.com/r/<id>), click Print / Save PDF in the top bar.
This PDF is different from the A4 technical sheet you generate from the editor. The technical sheet is for your workshop and includes costs (only you see it); this PDF starts from the public page and never includes costs, because it's the one you show to the world.
Steps
Open the public page
Open your public recipe at https://app.areacacao.com/r/<id>. It must be published (Public recipe switch on); if it isn't, the link leads to an error page.
Click Print / Save PDF
Click Print / Save PDF. The AreaCacao-branded printable version opens in a new tab and, as soon as it loads, your browser's print dialog appears. If you close it, you can open it again with the Print / Save PDF button in that tab.
The button is in the page's top bar and only appears on screens from tablet size up; on a narrow phone it isn't shown.
Save as PDF
In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF instead of printing. Set minimal margins and portrait orientation.
What the PDF includes
- A header with the logo, the recipe's origin (Filling, Chocolate, or Artisan recipe), the quality badge, the authorship (if you show it), the type, the % cocoa, and the total weight.
- Master chocolatier tips, if there are any.
- Composition as a table (by part, if the recipe has parts).
- Yield: waste, final weight, and units.
- Step-by-step Method.
- Allergens (EU 1169/2011) with the note for the manufacturer.
- A footer with the Made with AreaCacao · areacacao.com brand.
Unlike the public page, the PDF doesn't include the charts or the nutrition facts.
The PDF is generated in the language you're viewing the public page in: Spanish, English, French, Brazilian Portuguese, or European Portuguese.
Expected result
An AreaCacao-branded PDF of your recipe, with no costs, ready to print or share.
