Search and filter recipes

Find recipes in the list using text search, type filters, and sorting.

Goal

Find a recipe among the ones in your account using the search box, the filters, and the sorting in the My recipes list.

The list controls

The /recipes list has a bar with four controls and a view toggle.

Search by text

In the Search by name or description… field, type part of the name or the description. The list narrows instantly to the recipes that match.

Filter by chocolate type

All chocolates selector: pick one of the types present in your recipes (Dark, Milk, White, Vegan milk, Vegan white, Custom). The list of options isn't fixed: only the types you actually have appear.

Filter by filling family

All fillings selector: pick one of the filling families present in your recipes. The options are generated from your recipes; if you don't have any recipe with a filling, the selector is disabled.

Sort

Sort selector with four options: Most recent, Oldest, Name A–Z, and Weight, high to low.

Switch the view

The Grid view / List view toggle switches between cards and a table. The table shows the columns Name, Type, Items, Weight, Updated, and Actions.

Tips

  • The header counter (N recipes · M shown) tells you how many remain visible after applying the search and the filters. If you expect to see a recipe and it doesn't appear, check that the chocolate or filling filter isn't excluding it.
  • The search inside the ingredient catalog (in the editor, when you add components) tolerates typos and accents: it finds results even if you type without accents or in lowercase. It's different from the list search, which filters by the recipe's name and description.
